Cyber Prevention

Anti-malware - A utility that searches for and removes any malware on a computer.

Antivirus - A utility that searches for and removes any viruses on a computer.

Encryption - Coding (encrypting) data so that it can only be decoded (decrypted) with the correct key

Firewall - A utility or device that monitors the traffic between a computer and the internet and only allows connections that are authorised.

Pen-testing  - The process of simulating attacks on a network to identify weaknesses 

Lawful interception - Checking data on a network for cyber security purposes 

Network Policy - A set of rules and procedures an organisation will follow to ensure their network is protected against attacks 

Network Security - Protection against network attacks
