Units

Bit -The smallest unit of data – a bit can take the value of ‘0’or ‘1’, alternatively expressed as ‘false’ or ‘true’.

Nibble - Half a byte

Byte - The smallest addressable unit of data in a computer. Usually 8 bits.

Kilobyte (KB) - 1000 bytes

Megabyte (MB) - 1000 kilobytes

Gigabyte (GB) - 1000 megabytes

Terabyte (TB) - 1000 gigabytes

Petabyte (PB) - 1000 terabytes
